The Story

Donatello Montrone grew up in southern Italy — food made with care, shared with generosity, never out of reach.

After years in the Philippines, he saw a gap: authentic Italian food existed, but it was expensive, inconsistent, or both. He built Al Dente to fix that. Fresh, traditional, affordable. For everyone.

Every day starts with flour, eggs and time. Our pasta is made in-house, shaped for each sauce, and cooked al dente to keep the texture alive.

Carbonara, cacio e pepe, ragu, pesto, seafood and seasonal specials all begin with the same rule: simple ingredients, proper technique, no shortcuts.
